Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page explains how Tiny Kids World (doing business as Tinytwigkids) handles the "sale" and "sharing" of personal information under US state privacy laws, and how you can opt out. Although these rights come from laws in California and several other states, we honor opt-out requests from every customer in the United States.

What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean

Under California law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA), a "sale" means giving personal information to a third party in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means giving personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning ads based on your activity across different websites, even when no money changes hands. Other states use similar terms, such as "targeted advertising."

What We Share and With Whom

We do not share your name, email address, postal address or payment information for advertising.

Service Providers Are Not a Sale or Share

Some companies process information on our behalf under contract, only to help us run the store. They may not use it for their own purposes, so this is not a sale or sharing: PayPal (payments), DigitalOcean Spaces (file and image storage), OpenAI (site search), Telegram (order notifications to staff), our email service provider, and the carriers USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL.

How to Opt Out

1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share", or fill in the form below.
2. Include the email address you used to shop with us so we can apply your request. That is all we need.

You do not need an account, and we do not require identity verification for an opt-out. We will only deny a request if we have a good-faith, documented reason to believe it is fraudulent, and we will tell you why.

We act on your request as soon as possible and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We also notify the parties that received your information after you submitted your request that you have opted out, so they stop using it.

Using an authorized agent

You may ask an authorized agent to submit a request for you. We may ask the agent for a signed authorization from you.

Global Privacy Control

Our site does not currently process Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals. To opt out, please use the email or form options above.

After You Opt Out

We stop sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still see general ads that are not personalized. We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months, unless you choose to do so yourself.

Young People Under 16

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We would only do so with prior opt-in consent: from the teen for ages 13 to 15, and from a parent for children under 13.

Sensitive Personal Information

We do not collect or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, so we do not offer a "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link. Payment details are handled by PayPal.

Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your state, you may also opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information and profiling, and request to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information. We respond to these requests within 45 days, and may extend by another 45 days when needed, with notice to you. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Appeals

If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days and explain our reasons. If you still disagree, you may contact your state's Attorney General.

No Discrimination

We will never refuse to sell to you, charge you a different price or lower the quality of our service because you exercised your privacy rights.
